Steve founded Splash in March 2013 with a disruptive college savings and loan product. He spent the first two years developing significant connections within the student loan and banking industries attempting to bring the private label turnkey banking product to the market. In mid- 2015, Mr. Muszynski pivoted the company to a platform that refinances medical school student loans – helping medical residents and fellows reduce the burden of their medical school loan debt. Mr. Muszynski began his career at General Electric in their Financial Management Program, rotating through different business segments in a finance intensive program. He graduated magna cum laude from The Honors College at The Ohio State University— Max M. Fisher College of Business with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. Mr. Muszynski also serves on the board of directors of the non-profit: Values in Action Foundation.
VP of Capital Markets
Prior to joining Splash, Michael “Mick” Boyle was leading KeyBank’s efforts to work with financial institutions (“FI’s") as Senior Banker of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). Starting in June 2014, Mick led KeyBank’s effort to reshape the FIG team and Key’s institutional approach to working with FI’s. Mick played a direct role in helping Syndicate Finance, Public Finance and the Key Government Finance teams, secure $300mm in commitments from FI’s in syndicated and privately placed transactions in asset classes such as C&I, CRE and Public Finance (Higher Education, Government & Healthcare).
Mick has over 20 years of experience concentrated in institutional sales, capital markets, banking, credit and loan sales for multi-billion dollar financial services corporations. From 2012 to 2014, Mick was Head of KBCM’s Corporate Investment Services (CIS) Group and Cleveland Fixed Income Branch Manager. Prior to returning to KBCM in 2012, Mick spent almost seven years at JPMorgan Securities LLC as a SVP within their Financial Institutions Group, where he managed corresponding banking and investment banking relationships with financial institutions. Prior to joining JPMorgan, he worked for KeyBanc Capital Markets from 2002 to 2006 as a VP of Fixed Income Institutional Sales. Earlier in his career, Mick worked for Citicorp Securities Inc. as a VP of Private Banking (New York, NY), Citicorp Securities Inc. as a VP of Fixed Income Institutional Sales (New York, NY), NatWest Bank Securities Inc. as a VP of Fixed Income Institutional Sales (Jersey City, NJ) and Hartford Investment Management Company (Hartford, CT).
Mick received his MBA in Finance from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
VP of Operations
Prior to joining Splash, Pat was the founding CEO of Apollo Medical Devices, a Cleveland startup company developing a rapid blood testing system. While at Apollo, Mr. Leimkuehler raised over $1 million in funding from venture capitalists, angel investors, and non-dilutive grants. He wrote and executed the initial business plan, licensed a patent portfolio from Case Western Reserve University, grew the company to six full time employees, and oversaw all operations. Mr. Leimkuehler began his career in management consulting in Chicago specializing in bankruptcy, turnarounds, and restructuring. He spent four years in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance Group and two years in AlixPartner’s Turnaround and Restructuring Group working on high-profile bankruptcies including, Eastman Kodak Company and NewPage Paper. His proficiencies include startups, operations, financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and strategic planning. Mr. Leimkuehler is a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Tim started his career at Sherwin Williams prior to being recruited to Dealer Tire, a 500+ employee tire distributer and one of the fastest growing companies in Cleveland. While focused on the accounting side of the business, Mr. Beres was instrumental in improving receivables processes as well as operational efficiencies. He joined LendULink and now Splash in 2014, assisting and overseeing the majority of web development, product improvements, and process development. Tim graduated summa cum laude with University Honors from Cleveland State University— Monte Ahuja College of Business with a concentration in Finance. While at Cleveland State, Mr. Beres was the President of the school’s Financial Management Association Chapter.
Director, Customer Experience & Special Projects
Elizabeth, spent the first part of her career working as a senior private client associate at AllianceBernstein in Washington, DC. In this role she managed her team’s operations and met with clients to create holistic investment plans. She left DC and moved abroad to get her MBA at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Following business school, she worked for CCS, a fundraising and strategic development firm. In her role at CCS she assisted non-profit organizations with their annual and capital campaign fundraising strategies. She then returned to Cleveland, and to AllianceBernstein as a Financial Advisor in the private client group. Prior to joining Splash, she worked with local non-profits to improve programming. She graduated from Washington & Lee University with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in French.

Mike Stein is the CEO of AccuLynx, the leading cloud based business management software for specialty trade contractors. Mike has spent his career building internet and technology companies. Mike was on the founding team of Orbitz where he held the position of VP Online Marketing and was instrumental in the marketing launch of orbitz.com. After Orbitz, Mike was the SVP of Marketing at TicketsNow, acquired by TicketMaster. Mike’s career includes the following roles - SVP & GM at Travelzoo, CMO at Buywithme, CMO of Nextag, and CMO of the tools business at Sears. Mike began his career as a CPA at Arthur Andersen providing audit and consulting services to technology clients.
Chief Investment Officer & Executive Vice-President of Capital Markets for RocketLoans
Mark Acchione is the Chief Investment Officer, EVP, Capital Markets at RocketLoans, a national marketplace lending company specializing in online personal loans and part of the Quicken Loans Family of Companies. In addition to his capital market responsibilities, Mark is directly responsible for achieving targeted corporate profit goals as well as optimization and best execution for all products. He has 15 years of trading, sales, relationship management and operations experience. Mark was previously Vice President, Capital Markets at Quicken Loans’ One Reverse Mortgage. He has held positions of Whole Loan Trader and Government Product Manager. In addition to being a core member of Splash’s advisory board, Mark serves as a Senior Advisor, Capital Markets to RapidAdvance which is a leading online financial services company that offers flexible funding solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.
Partner Revenue Officer at Lifelock
Finnegan Faldi is currently Partner Revenue Officer at Lifelock. Most recently, Finn was the Chief Business Officer at AppThis which is one of the largest private machine learning platforms for App Developers and Mobile publishers worldwide. Previous positions include CEO of Trueffect, COO of Datalogix, and Director of Global Partner Organization for Yahoo. Finn graduated from the undergraduate division of the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and received his MBA from Pepperdine University.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Centro
Ben Pashman leads Centro's strategic partnerships and is responsible for evaluating M&A and investment opportunities. Prior to Centro, Ben served as the first business executive at Gigya, a leading identity management SaaS technology company. Previous positions include senior sales and product management roles at Doubleclick, Conde Nast and Travelzoo.
